We are pleased to announce that our #WCW for this week is the one and only Kirsty Ncube, one of our newest members but has already made a significant contribution to the Skills Exchange community.

Kirsty describes herself as independent, confident and outright positive! BUT what we’ve witnessed goes way (waaaaaay) beyond just that! Kirsty is fierce, goal-driven and out here trying to make a significant difference in the lives of others, no matter how big or small - she wants to see you win!

As a supporter of many movements, Kirsty is a multifaceted woman, eager to build a sustainable future for those around her. From #GBV to charing a few international student boards and steering an agricultural initiative; development and growth are what she's all about.

And that's why she was drawn to Skills Exchange! Joining a community where women are empowered to reach their full potential regardless of any limitations and challenges set forth by societal expectations. Three months in and as a member she has already discovered a lot and sees things differently.

"I'm where I belong, a community full of amazing and inspiring women, ready to celebrate me!"

Kirsty always has her hand up, when it comes to helping others and admits that as a woman it's not easy to ask for help. Regardless of gender, we are all human and can't do everything ourselves, we all face our challenges but the important thing is to try and source out different means to try and overcome whatever is you're facing.

Admittedly, we all make mistakes but Kirsty believes that's how we learn. Beating yourself up about it can do more harm than good. Instead, learn from it so in the future you can prevent it from happening again. Take all the time you need to release all the feelings of resentment and anger and work towards the healing process. The solution involves not holding a grudge but fully forgiving, it's a powerful thing you can do for yourself.

"Forgiveness is a process, it takes time do not rush it"
